Local Processing

All cut detection and timeline generation (FCPXML export) happen locally on your device.

Your video files are not uploaded to any server.

File Access

Scene Cut Detector accesses media files only when you select them via the standard macOS file picker.

The app uses file access solely to:

• analyze cut points
• generate an FCPXML timeline for Final Cut Pro import

Network Communication

Scene Cut Detector does not require network access to function and does not transmit your media or personal data to external servers.
